Zimmerman next court date in Sept.

Waseca Mayor Randy Zimmerman, facing two counts of felony perjury charges, had his first preliminary hearing on July 18. Zimmerman reports no plea was entered, and very little occurred. His next court date will be Sept. 19. 

The charges stem from Zimmerman having allegedly listed an address within city limits as his residence in order to be eligible to run for election as mayor, even though he resides in Woodville Township.
