Awards were given for outstanding performance in art, music, physical education and Spanish as well as growth in math, reading, and citizenship. Also announced was the winner of the 2023 T-Shirt design contest, sixth-grader Erasmo Sandoval with his design featuring a wolf - the TEAM Academy mascot - with the statement “20 Years of TEAM Academy.” The school holds a contest for the shirt design every year, asking students to submit their art. The winning design is used for the following year’s official school T-Shirt.
