Life Works Planning Center receives $2,200 grant

Life Work Planning Center received a grant for $2,200 for workshops/training for women in transition services during the Waseca Area Foundation’s annual awards program November 9, 2022. This non-profit organization serves a nine-county area with a mission to increase self efficacy of women and families, as well as provide family stabilization through trauma care. LWPC provides workshops covering a variety of topics including trauma victims, decision making, re-entering the workforce, and many more. During Covid, many families were forced to opt for at-home workshops and part of this grant will go to setting up/buying internet hotspots to expand the accessibility of these workshops/trainings.
