Farmers market at fairgrounds

The Waseca Farmers Market had a successful start Saturday, June 3, at the fairgrounds as vendors set up from 8 a.m to noon.
Available products ranged from wood creations to baked goods and fresh produce.
Area resident Kathy Kronebusch has been selling both garden art and homemade baked goods for the past three years.
“It’s fun,” said Kronebusch, “I love to come out and meet the people, that’s the best part.”
Kronebusch mentioned that this is the first time she has ever set up her booth so early in the season, but she was satisfied with the crowd and the number of people.
This year, the market has expanded to allow vendors outside of Waseca County to come in if they pay a $10 fee.
