MANKATO, Minn. — Student athletes entering grades 7 through 12 in the 2023–2024 school year can receive a $20 sports screening at one of the Mayo Clinic Health System locations across the Southwest Minnesota region at events in July and August.
Appointments are required at most locations. Schedule an appointment through the patient portal, the Mayo Clinic App or by calling the listed location number.
Sports screenings will be held at the hospital in Waseca (501 North State Street) from 5 to 6 p.m. on August 3. More information can be acquired by calling 507-835-1210. Screenings are also offered at the Mankato Clinic’s offices in the Madison East Health Center at 1400 Madison Avenue, Suite 100AA, from 5 to 8 p.m. on July 19. More information available by calling 507-594-2600.
New this year is the ability to receive immunizations during the sports screening event. Parent or guardian consent is required to receive immunizations. Student athletes must bring the completed and signed Consent to Treat Unaccompanied Minor form to the sports screening event.
